I have a general rule that after 3 emails back and forth is enough, someone needs to pick up the phone. I don't know if you've ever been part of an email where someone responds and someone is copying everyone and it kind of keeps going and going when you could just have a conversation or go down the hall and talk to that person. 
 
There's a lot of research they're doing around artificial intelligence and emotional intelligence, they're definitely moving in that area right now. It's how marketers connect to us and I think they're going to continue to teach machines to feel. 

What distinguishes anyone in a career path? Right now we have the ability to influence people and to connect with them to build relationships. That's the differentiator, we have a human, we have these emotional intelligence competencies which they haven't fully automated yet. That's another reason why it's important to learn new skill sets. The only differentiator that you have is that connection with other humans
